So I know it's not the end of may yet but I thought I'd do a little round up of skincare bits I've bought this month will link everything up below!
I know a lot of people have been talking about these L'oreal Pure Clay masks so I've been wanting to try them out. I chose the detox mask as I have quite oily/spot prone skin but they also have one to make your skin 'glow' and one to make your skin more matte. They are currently on offer in Boots for £5.99 and it says you get 10 applications from each pot. The mask is quite thick and as it dries and hardens it goes right into all of your pores to pull out all the grease etc. and after I washed it off my face felt really fresh and soft. It is a little drying depending on how long you leave it on for because it dries hard so unless you have super oily skin I'd recommend putting on a light moisturiser after!
I go on holiday next week and I have been looking for a shimmer oil to use on my shoulders/chest area for a bit of 'glow from within' look. I have quite oily skin so I was a bit hasty at first but it actually dries and leaves your skin feeling super soft and not greasy! It's Superdrug's own brand and it was a much paler shimmer than others I've seen (perfect for my milk bottle skin!) and I love it! This was the only one that was there when I went but I think they've changed the packaging because I've found the exact same one here! It's just £4.99 so quite a bargain compared to others out there. It is quite a light shimmer, not too glittery but and I think in certain areas like collar bones I'd add a bit of powder highlight to emphasise the shine.
Okay, this isn't a new thing I know Tangle Teezers have been around for ages now but I have only just bought one and wow! I have quite thick hair so it gets really knotty but the Tangle Teezer just glides through my hair with less breakage than a normal hairbrush, I literally don't know how it works but it does! These are priced at about £13 at Boots but I actually managed to get mine on offer at B&M for £8 so keep an eye out!
